Cheferee's Consensus
Vegan rate this plate highest, Carnivore lowest — a 8.5-point spread. They are not reading different evidence; they are applying different rules to the same plate.

Plant-forward with beans, avocado and tomatoes fits DASH well, but the fried tostones add saturated fat from frying oil and refried beans often carry added sodium and fat, pulling the score down.
Avocado, tomatoes and legumes align with the pattern, but nearly a third of the plate is deep-fried plantains and there is no olive oil, fish, whole grains or leafy greens to round it out.
Every item on the plate is plant-based — plantains, beans, avocado, tomatoes and corn — making this a textbook vegan meal.
The plate contains zero animal products; tostones, beans, guacamole, salad, tomatoes and corn are all plants, which Carnivore categorically excludes.
Refried beans and corn are explicitly excluded from Paleo as legumes and grain, and fried plantains in seed oil compound the problem despite the avocado and tomato being compliant.
Tostones, refried beans and corn together deliver a heavy carb load that will blow well past any ketogenic threshold, even with the fat from guacamole and avocado.
Refried beans, avocado in the quantities shown (guac plus salad = 35% of the plate), and sweet corn are all high-FODMAP, making this plate a stack of trigger foods.
Legumes (refried beans), corn is allowed but the refried beans and deep-fried plantains cooked in seed oil are both explicit Whole30 violations.
Protein is essentially absent while carbs from plantains, beans and corn dominate and fats from two avocado dishes are high — the 40/30/30 balance is badly off.
Avocado, tomatoes and beans bring polyphenols and fiber, but frying the plantains (likely in refined oil) and the lack of any omega-3 source or leafy greens limits the anti-inflammatory value.
High fiber from beans, avocado and vegetables supports satiety, but protein is missing entirely and the fried starch load is calorie-dense for the volume, which works against GLP-1 goals.
